The Bermuda Industrial Union has been at the forefront in fighting for and achieving worker's rights in Bermuda.  Registered in 1947, it is a general union made up of some 18 semi autonomous divisions.  Its membership is drawn from various industries, enterprises and occupations throughout the Island.  Predominant among its members are "Blue Collar Workers".
